What To Expect
I work in a peaceful garden room at my home address in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire with space to park outside. Due to steps leading to my room, wheelchair access is not possible. I will send you information before our first session with my address and directions.
Sessions are 50 minutes and are generally face to face but can take place via Zoom® video conferencing or by telephone if you prefer.
My fees are £50 a session and you can choose to pay either with cash or a cheque, by debit/credit card during our session or by bank transfer before attending the session. Concessions may be available. I will send you banking information, along with my address, before our first session.
Booking an appointment
Email, telephone or complete the enquiry form and I will talk things through and together, we will agree a time to meet for our first session. As finding the right counsellor for you is important, your call or email will give you the chance to explain what support you are looking for and to ask any questions you may have so you can get to know me and how I work a little before we meet.
I am contactable by phone between 9am and 7pm weekdays and if I am unavailable, please leave a voice mail and I will return your call as soon I am free or send me an email.
Sometimes it is necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This is usually possible provided 24 hours’ notice is given. For missed or cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice, there will be a charge of £25 and for missed sessions with no notice given, the full fee will be charged. I will give you as much notice of holidays or of illness as I can.
Number of Sessions
Depending on your needs, a few sessions may be enough to make a real difference or you may find a longer term counselling relationship more valuable. You can decide week by week so it is flexible so no need to commit in advance to a number of sessions.
